Add a Little Sparkle to Your Brunch

Pop the Breakfast Bubbly

by Jessica Zweig – August 5, 2011

With the plethora of delectable, mouth-waterting brunch destinations spread out through Chicago’s neighborhoods, a Cheeky girl always has one top priority on her brunch-going mind: Mimosas.

So we stopped by the Boundary in Wicker Park, which offers brunch every Saturday and Sunday from 10 am – 3pm, to find out more about what we heard was one of the best Mimosa (and Bloody Mary) offers in town.

But before you toast it up, we suggest digging into their dee-lish menu.  Healthy options like the Veggie Egg White Omelet with asparagus, artichoke, spinach and feta cheese; not-so-healthy items like Banana Foster French Toast with butter rum sauce and whipped cream; and spicy items like Huevos Rancheros with salsa and pepper jack cheese make up for some of the selections.

But it’s really your Sunday morning thirst that has motivated you to get out of your bed and over to the Boundary, which is why we are obsessing over the make-your-own Mimosa Bar with Korbel California Champagne and eight different juices to choose from, plus a  Finlandia Bloody Mary Bar with over 15 different items with which to garnish your cocktail.   A Cheeky girl’s gotta have options.

So while your BF catches up on his sports games on the Boundary’s 13 large flat screen TVs, you can sit out on the Boundary’s patio (with a stellar people-watching vantage point on Division Street, BTW) while you sip your peach nectar Korbel Mimosa and enjoy these dog days of summer.
