Things were getting a little hot, hot, hot (and not just because it was a burning 90 degrees) when Cheeky took on the Sauza firetruck (and firemen) and bar crawled through River North last Friday.
It all started at Public House. The Sauza firemen waited by the front entrance in front of Sauza’s distinctively blue fire truck and for anyone who passed by, here were your choices — a) take a photo with the hunky firemen or b) lounge on a lawn chair while you were fanned by one. We know. Our life is… amazeballs. Pretty much a win-win situation.
Inside Public House, Cheeky ladies sipped on Sauza-ritas garnished with lime for the perfect answer to the summer heat. And what kind of a Cheeky happy hour would this be without a little food? Hawaiian style flatbread with pesto and pita chips and guac galore was the perfect complement to the refreshing Sauza-ritas. Then, onto our next stop.
At 4pm, the Sauza firetruck made its way to Cantina Laredo with an even larger group on the second floor of the restaurant. Guests mingled on with more Sauza-ritas and yummy chicken and beef quesadillas to turn this party into a fiesta.
Too good to be true? We know. Pictures or it didn’t happen. Yeah, we got photos. And our Cheeky ladies were blowing up Twitter with how much they were loving this event.
“My Friday is filled with hot firemen, cool margaritas & good friends.” #SauzaToTheRescue @CheekyChicago
