Check out Rock ‘n Shop this weekend ( and select weekends coming up), a two-day pop-up event with local jewelry designers taking up space together in one place. It’ll be hosted by local clothing company JLee Silver (you may have recognized their talent from the Fresh Faces Fashion show this year at Gen Art!).

Rock ‘n Shop is basically a specialized event celebrating local talent, allowing attendees to shop local designers’ collections while jamming to music. This event will showcase five apparel and accessories designers while local bands keep the place entertained, and it’ll be open to the public!

Expect to find pieces from JLee Silver woman’s contemporary collection of tailored wardrobe essentials, focusing on holiday jackets and dresses under $200, plus handmade, one-of-a-kind vintage inspired necklaces and bracelets. Also save time to check out Socks Appeal (knee-high socks with faux-fur trim to accessorize your winter boots) and JG Custom Designs (handcrafted furniture and home accessories).

And don’t forget home décor; M?rk artwork will also be a part of the event, presenting graffiti inspired portraits.

Honestly, with this kind of lineup, what CAN’T you find?! Not much.

And while you shop, expect live music by DJ Earnest Streeter to get you in the shopping mood! The event will continue for four consecutive weekends, beginning Saturday, November 28.
