Cheeky’s in Holiday Mode

Are you still full? We are. Just trying to recover before Christmas cookies, candy canes and egg nog replace turkey, stuffing and pumpkin pie. While doing so, we've been chatting with career/workplace advisor (and former editor at Glamour Magazine for 18 years) about getting a job these days. Listen to what she has to say - she's one sharp cookie. We're also gettin' excited about Hubbard Street Dance Chicago's Winter Series (Dec. 3-6 at the Harris Theater in Millennium Park). Think outside the Nutcracker box this holiday season and use code CHEEKY to get $40 tix to this white hot show. If you'd like to catch some additional theatrics and Christmas comedies, check out our holiday theatre round-up. We've got reindeers, Santa and David Sedaris that'll have you rolling in the aisles. Although not holiday-ey at all, Young Frankenstein has our stamp of approval. So does stunning female star, Beth Curry, and she talks to us today as your Cheeky Chick of the Week. If, by chance, you are still hungry after last week's eat-a-thon, read our reviews of Fulton's on the River and Dave's Italian Kitchen. Or, read why Chicago-based chef Rodelio Aglibot of Sunda just had the huge honor of cooking at Manhattan's James Beard House. You go, boy. Happy first week of December. Let the holiday season begin!
