We thought it was time for sweaters, falling leaves and hot apple cider. This past week was more flip-flops, sunshine and white wine. We're not complaining. As fall continues to sneak back, however, we've got some exciting things for you. The most exciting thing in our book is one of our newest Cheeky writers. We've got for you the hippest, the coolest, the most knowledgeable and the most real Ob/Gyn in the world. Dr. Dayna Salasche will be enlightening all of you on a monthly basis as to the inner female workings, what to expect from a pap, how to handle female health issues and all that good stuff. Please welcome her. Cheeky is also welcoming a few more peeps to town this week. On Friday, November 13th, Cheeky welcomes LA-based jewelry designer Steven Shein to Chi-town and celebrates his new line with Sofia Vintage Boutique at The 44th Ward Dinner Party with cocktails, Miller beer specials aaaand… the launch of the "Cheeky Chicago" sandwich, now on The 44th Ward's menu! Come eat/drink/shop/dance with us. Party starts at 9pm It’s gonna be RAD. As if a celebrity designer wasn’t cool enough, how about a celebrity? "Desperate Housewives" star, hunky Jesse Metcalfe, is making an appearance at Le Passage this Friday. Two lucky winners will get a total make-over by AKIRA stylists, hair & make-up by Zazu Salon, a limo pick-up to the event and a table for four (with Jesse!), plus complimentary champagne. Click here to enter! Know that little, highly-unknown, very empty shopping day known as Black Friday? Well, we think you could use a break from swiping the credit card and trying on clothes. So stop by the James Hotel on Nov. 27th between 3 and 6 to rest those weary feet with a couple of Svedka cocktails and eats by the one and only Rick Gresh of David Burke's Primehouse. I mean, life is hard. So keep enjoying those hot apple ciders or indulge in a more adult fall cocktail. But, most of all, enjoy the last of the leaves as Cheeky prepares you for a crazy/cool holiday season. Cheekily, |
