A Shopper's Dining Dream

As any cheeky girl knows, shopping works up an appetite. And when it comes to shopping in Chicago, there’s no better centralized mecca than the Water Tower Place. Which is why restaurants Foodlife and Mity Nice Grill fall perfectly in step with our shop-until-you-drop hunger pangs (not to mention our newly purchased designer shoes).

If you want to rest those tootsies and be waited on, Mity Nice Grill is your place. Defined as “traditional American comfort food” with a homemade spin and a supper club vibe, Mity Nice gives you an extremely thorough selection of appetizers, salads, entrees, and more. Choose from starters like potstickers or potato pancakes, Asian chopped salads and stuffed tomato with homemade tuna salad, or munch on asparagus and goat cheese flat bread, or whole wheat pasta with chicken meatballs. And as all cheeky chicks know by now, we never pass on that dessert list. For that very reason, we should be mighty nice to Mity Nice Grill, since they’ve thoughtfully crafted a “mini-dessert” menu, ranging from pumpkin cheesecake to pecan pie, each for $1.50 a pop. The Grill’s got a full list of specialty cocktails, hand-crafted beer, and fine wine, too.

If shopping is your priority and you’re in the “grab-and-go” mode, Foodlife is your personal foodie oasis. Equipped with a hot bar, fresh soups, a pizzeria, a rotisserie, a stir-fry bar, a taqueria, a coffee and pastry shop, a sushi bar, a dessert bar, and the most versatile salad bar this side of Lake Michigan, there is truly something for everyone. And every week, Foodlife offers the cheeky-approved pick, two sushi rolls for just $9.99.

Happy shopping…er…we mean, eating!
