Electronic Dance Festival Hits Montrose Beach

We all know that summer in Chicago means that festivals abound. But this year Chicago gets to experience an entirely new sort of festival – a massive beach party, if you will – for two days.

Wavefront Beachside Music Festival is happening this weekend (June 30-July 1) at Montrose Beach and features renowned electronic artists such as MSTRKRFT, James Murphy and Eric Prydz. It’s no secret that more and more electronica is becoming mainstream (as if Lolla’s electronic boom wasn’t an indication) – so take this opportunity and get lost in our city’s offering of summer sun, beach and awesome dance music.

Tickets are available for $60 per day (or $109 for a two-day pass), and lockers are available for rent for $15 (a nice alternative to lugging all of your stuff around).
