Sporty and sleek. Here comes a haute heavy hitter! A new one-of-a-kind upscale sports bar, gastropub experience in Chicago has arrived. The official grand opening of Municipal Bar + Dining Company took place on Friday night and drew an all-star turnout. VIP arrivals on the red carpet included Brian Urlacher, Jonathan Toews, Major Wright, Charley Oakley, Al Montoya, and Chicago icon Michael Jordan, who still can wow a crowd like no one I’ve ever seen! The Monday Night Football festivities have begun in bars across the city.  Newly remodeled District in River North has teamed up with Sue Barakat to host a Monday Night Football event that caters to a hip after-work crowd of posh atmosphere-loving sports lovers.   District Bar’s décor is sleek and modern and the crowd is more likely to come in heels and button ups than baseball caps and sneakers.  The space is covered in black leather couches and chairs, dark shiny wood tables and 30+ flat screen TV’s are perched along the walls all playing the game simultaneously.
