It’s always inspiring when people who have found great success in their life use their influence to give back to those less fortunate, and that’s why I’m such a fan of Chicago Bulls point guard C.J. Watson.  In his first season with the Bulls, C.J. has been moved to use his non-profit organization The Quiet Storm Foundation (QSF) to help make a positive impact in the lives of Chicago’s youth. Coming off the star-studded Weezer concert in Los Angeles, the Windy City got its turn to rock last Tuesday, October 12, as O.A.R. performed for the AXE Music “One Night Only” concert series. Hailing from Ohio State University, this was O.A.R.’s first time ever performing at the intimate concert venue, The Metro, and they didn’t disappoint.  Playing some of their classic and most well known songs such as “Crazy Game of Poker” to their new hits including “Shattered,” the audience was singing along to every lyric. If you were one of the luck 900+ people to catch the Grammy and Oscar-winning singer and actress Jennifer Hudson wow the crowd Tuesday night at  Michigan Avenue magazine’s two-year anniversary at the House of Blues, well, you know how lucky you are.
