There’s no way around it. I have to admit. I literally have become addicted to The Voice. Within a matter of days, I caught myself up to the current episode of Season 4. And now I can’t stop tuning in every week to see who’s making it past each of the live rounds. I’m someone who doesn’t really like to watch competitive reality shows (Real Housewives, all day errrrday!!). I never caught on to X-Factor, American Idol or even shows like Survivor. 8:03pm: We open with “Ice Princess Heather” and her husband, Dr. Terry, quarreling in their bathroom. Apparently, Terry and Heather got into an argument on last week’s episode.  So they are hashing it out in the bathroom whilst Dr. Terry clips his toenails. Double-tasking, I like it. 8:04: Heather is complaining that Dr. Terry doesn’t take her seriously and is “always making jokes.” Then Heather gives him a laundry list of things she does for their children. If you have not seen the musical South Pacific, it is about a group of American sailors and Navy nurses stationed in the South Pacific during World War II. The whole play centers around the romantic blossoming of two couples. U.S. Navy nurse Nellie Forbush, an active, energetic optimist who falls for French plantation owner Emile De Becque. Couple number two:, Lt. Joe Cable falls in love with Liat, the young daughter of Bloody Mary, a local grass-skirt peddler. Conflicts ensue as the war against Japan escalates.
