The Staveley-Taylor sisters, professionally known as The Staves, have a lot going on at the moment. Having released their debut record Dead & Born & Grown back home in England last year, The Staves (Emily, Jessica and Camilla) performed two showcases at Austin’s SXSW Music and Media Conference just days before their Atlantic Records LP hit the American market. Cheeky caught up with the baby of the group, ukulele-playing Camilla Staveley-Taylor, in between gigs while at SXSW. “It’s good, it’s hot,” chuckles Staveley-Taylor of the trio’s time in Austin. It’s gonna be Fun. And I’m not just talking about the atmosphere Sunday night…I’m talking about the singing group. Okay, enough corny jokes. The 55th Annual Grammy Awards will be airing on CBS this Sunday at 7pm. While last year it was pretty clear early on that Adele would be the frontrunner in the categories in which she was nominated (she ended up taking home six awards), this year seems to belong to Fun.
