Everyday at Cheeky, we’re putting in our blood, sweat and tears to create an inclusive community for definitively bold, impudent and saucy women. After passionately Cheekifying the city for five years, we wanted to pause to reflect on our accomplishments (everyone should try this) and treat ourselves to a colossal, chic bash second to none. On Oct. 10 in true Cheeky fashion, we did just that. Bottle service is SO last year. Why don’t you forget it and opt for a table kit instead? What’s a table kit, you ask? Well, I headed to the Underground to find out what Benjamin Newby, GM and cocktail creator, had concocted. The latest offering is a cocktail experience, where well-trained servers in Cold War Era booty shorts take an artisan approach to pouring a drink. I will admit it’s not much in terms of ambience and the crowd is either hot-boy hit-or-cougar miss. But I will also admit that it’s the great music, special events and, most of all, the outstanding cocktail menu that keeps me coming back to Martini Park. Located in the heart of River North, you could call this one of the most convenient after-work/happy hour destinations in town.
