With the Oscars right around the corner – red carpet photos, videos and predictions are all abuzz in the fashion media. But the red carpet is going to come closer to home in Chicago thanks to the Junior League of Chicago. The Junior League of Chicago’s Annual Gala: “A Night on the Red Carpet” will take place on Saturday, February 28 at the The Museum of Broadcast Communications, and you won’t want to miss it! The philanthropic event is a true black tie affair, and the largest fundraiser of the year for the charity. Sometimes I think I’m part British–I’m absolutely lost without my morning Earl Grey tea latte. I have a small but much loved collection of tea pots. Downton Abbey is one of my favorite shows, and going out for an elegant afternoon tea in Chicago is a must-do during the holidays.
