Brunch is just about my favorite meal of the day/week/year. You name the dish, I’ve probably tried it. I’m all about the Eggs Benedict, veggie scrambles and Dutch babies, but my ultimate favorite brunch dish has to be French toast by far. There’s just something about toast covered in egg batter… I grew up eating French toast when my mom made it for me and I didn’t even know what it was called. But I knew I LOVED it. With summer (hopefully, potentially, finally) right around the corner, it’s getting dangerously easy to get carried away with any indication of warm weather. In an effort to bring on the sun, we Chicagoans are taking measures into our own hands.
