NoMI Introduces Fashion-Inspired Drinks from Local Designers

To celebrate Chicago Fashion Focus 2009, the NoMi Lounge at the Park Hyatt has created a designer cocktail menu featuring five Chicago fashion designers. NoMi mixologists worked with each designer individually to create a cocktail based on their personal spirit and style preferences.

The result?

Just like their fashions… cutting edge, contemporary and instant must have’s. Pop into NoMi now through the end of Fashion Focus, Sunday October 25th .

TENILLE WHITE: TENILLETINI

Tenille White creates bold yet elegant designs for passionate women. Her vision is captured in this cocktail. Grey Goose, St. Germain, Pineapple Juice, $15.

LARA MILLER: EARTH DREAM

Ecological sensitivity inspires Lara’s designs and her choice in cocktails. This drink comes from Mother Nature’s most pure and delightful elements. CapRock Organic Vodka, VeeV Açai’ Spirit, Pomegranate Fresh Lime Juice and Agave Nectar, $15.

HORACIO NIETO: MEXICAN DIVA

A true Latino Fashionista, Horacio embraces his heritage in his designs and his drinks. This cocktail captures the vibrant flavors and inspiration of Mexico Don Julio Blanco Tequila, Mint, Lime, Pomegranate, $15.

BORRIS POWELL: MICHIGAN AVE. MANHATTAN

Borris invokes his Southern heritage to create designs that are rich, complex, and sophisticated just like this cocktail. Maker’s Mark, Peach Purée, Ginger Beer, Orange Bitters, $15.

Richard and Darryl embrace simple elements in creating designs that express individuality and creativeness. This cocktail transforms simple into sublime. Ketel One, St. Germain, Sparkling Wine, Blue Curacao, $15.
