Bachelorette Star Swaps the Old for the New

by Kim Peiffer – January 11, 2010

In today’s economy, a Cheeky girl has to watch her budget, much to her dismay. But that doesn’t mean she can’t look fabulous at all times, thanks to former Bachelorette (and total cutie), Jen Schefft. The Chicago lovely is teaming up with Little Black Dress Wines to encourage all of us young, fashionable females to expand our closets by trading with other trendy ladies – and we’re digging the idea.

The concept is this; get some friends together, find a few items in your closet that you never wear but you think are cute enough to pass on to others, and get your party on.

We like this concept for many reasons; first of all, it’s economical – why not trade something old in your closet that you never wear for something you’ve been eyeing of a friends without spending a fortune? It’s a win-win situation. Second, it’s an excuse to get friends together and catch up, sans boys. We all need a night without football and beer every so often. And three, we get to buy and try wines.

Sounds like the perfect excuse for a girl’s night out. Find out how to host your own closet swap with Jen’s tips at www.littleblackdresswines.com.
