April, with its nurturing, shining sun, and …. But wait!! As the spring thaw grows closer, I feel an unexpected nostalgia. I’m not quite ready to move on to the next season. There’s something about March I’ll miss. Much of it, in fact. With the final frost, the lingering feelings of the holidays will be gone as well.
Classic Italian dishes such as Pork Marsala, Veal Milanese and Beef Tagliatta are especially enjoyed at Quartino during March. To complement these dishes, our wine offerings have been revised into light, medium, and full bodied wine categories. Intensely flavorful pasta preparations such as Bigoli with Venetian Duck Ragu or Tagliatelle alla Bolognese are capable of providing memories to last through the spring and summer. Other noteworthy pasta preparations include Cavatelli with San Marzano Tomatoes, Basil and Fresh Ricotta or Linguini with Clams. A variety of gluten free pasta is available for those with dietary restrictions or challenges.
