Lisa Brochu and Lauren Walker bring the Spring 2011 Brochu Walker collection to Chicago with a pop-up shop at p.45 in Wicker Park. On April 7 the design team was on hand to greet customers and help invited guests select from their ready-to-wear silks and soft knits during the pop up’s launch.
Since 2008, Brochu Walker clothing has been synonymous with chic, effortless and wearable basics. And that formula is what keeps hip, no-fuss fashionistas like Halle Berry and Jennifer Aniston coming back for more.
The fashion house (that started off concentrating on knitwear) eventually expanded their line into ready-to-wear silks with a sprinkle of fun terry and jersey pieces to choose from. And because each garment is built on the principle of layering and wrapping, you can pair many, if not all, of the pieces or wear them alone should you choose.
Brochu Walker’s newest collection stays pleasingly true to the ease and versatility their garments are known for. From light and airy knit wrap sweaters to breezy silk camisoles, this women’s line is made from versatile and inviting fabrics in neutral and earthy colors that are perfect for walks on the beach or lounging at home while enjoying the rising temperatures as summer approaches.
Brochu Walker will be at p.45 through April 21. Please do not miss this essential spring shopping opportunity.
