Do you ever find yourself looking at pics of celebrities or models with awesome hairstyles, but feel like it would be impossible to achieve that look on your own?  I do, and I’ve often wished someone could either do my hair for me or show me how to recreate the IN hair looks on myself.

We’re in luck! Roscoe Village’s Luxe a Salon + Spa is hosting a girly summer “hairapy” event on Thursday, July 8th from 6:30 pm to 8 pm. Join co-owners Elizabeth King and Ella Federovich, salon gurus of 15 years, for the first installment of Lessons in Luxe how-to class series: Bust A Braid. Elizabeth and Ella will teach you how to master various “grown-up” braid styles such as the classic side braid, the braided bun, the fishtail braid, and the headband braid (a la Lauren Conrad).

Cocktails and light bites will be served. Reserve your spot for $10 in advance by calling 773-665-2049.  Luxe a Salon + Spa will apply this $10 as a credit to any future service with the salon.  You will leave with a step-by-step guide to mastering the looks and a must-have teasing comb to set and secure your braid. This event comes at the perfect time, so you can debut your new looks throughout the rest of summer!
