Bonjour De Deauville, France

How it's Impacting Fall Parties

by Debi Lilly – September 8, 2010
Bonjour de Deauville, France.
Considered the queen of Normandy and her beaches, Deauville is one of the most glamorous beach resorts in the world.
Since the 19th century, it has been the fashionable French holiday destination for everyone from celebrities to children.
F Scott Fitzgerald writes of Deauville in my favorite book, The Great Gatsby. James Bond spent time at the tables here in Casino Royale. The all time best love story A Man and a Woman is set here.  Most notable, of course, is that Coco Chanel’s clothing career was born here in 1913.
Now, just when I thought I had seen and planned it all, I am fascinated by The Brochettes Party at The Casino.  Isn’t that such a fantastic theme and, of course, menu?
I love the multiple course menu, all “en stick” with delicious dipping sauces to boot.
I am putting this on the calendar for fall – and designing new party menus in its honor.
C’est fantastique!
