cheeky design darling

Stacey first opened the doors to Stacey Cohen Designs in Chicago in 2002, two years after completing studies in Interior Architecture at Parsons School of Design in New York. Her reputation for clean and timely work traveled fast and her clients’ homes ranged from Gold Coast condominiums to Bucktown brownstones. During this time, she took a hiatus from interiors to train with a New York Gallery in purchasing and dealing of Fine Art while applying for her Masters of Architecture. While completing the Architecture program at University of Illinois, Stacey knew it was time to return to Interiors. She utilized the Green Build knowledge she attained at UIC to become a LEED AP for Commercial Interiors.

Stacey received a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism/Magazine Production and Design from Columbia College Chicago and has worked for corporations such as Banana Republic Home Store, Ligne Roset and MTV. She was an independent consultant for production design on various independent films, a marketing specialist and manager of a New York gallery and an Auto-CAD operator for architects and furniture showrooms.

Stacey has resided in New York, Chicago and Los Angeles. As a forever Detroiter, she spends time with her family in Southern Florida and calls Chicago home.
