A graduate of the University of Chicago with a Master’s degree in writing biography and a concentration in tabloids, Oline burst onto the literary scene in 1992 when, at the tender age of eleven, her privately published figure skating murder mystery, On Thin Ice, took home the Shiloh Middle School Short Story Contest grand prize.
