A Grade-A college hopper, Jess attended University of Iowa, University of Miami and Columbia College Chicago. Whilst moving here, there and back, she found herself along the way. Never did her life’s puzzle pieces fall into all the right places until she moved back to Chicago.
After ending her collegiate confusion and settling at Columbia as a PR major, Jess put her vocal talent to use, hopping into any musical projects the soulful songbird could, started up her blog, jess.undressed, for local recessionistas, began reading and eventually writing for CheekyChicago and started creating and hosting endless fashion/foodie/fun events to hone her skills in the event planning and management world. Between these duties and making sure she remains hot on Chicago’s scene, she finds time to breathe and blink on occasion.
Jess’ ultimate goal is to blend her life’s work and research in the events field with that of television broadcast, landing her a spot as a regular guest or – better yet – host of a TV network show (or many, for that matter).
Jess believes food + fashion = fun. And who can blame the sweetie with a last name pronounced “Pie”-”it.”
