Looking for Restaurant Exclusives? Get Your Cheeky Card!Celebrated (and exiting) NoMI chef, Christophe David, is not simply moving to Switzerland to follow his girlfriend. It has been reported that David was moving to Switzerland (yes, his gf was going, too) to assume a Food and Beverage Director position at a Hyatt International property. When he discovered that Hyatt International no longer ran the property, he rescinded on his position. The rumored kicker: When Christophe David leaves (which was yesterday!), NoMI will be closing to reconcept the restaurant! Apparently, they’ve been desiring to do so for years, but David had such a strong following that it was impossible. Will $25 sushi rolls and homegrown tomato gazpacho be out the window? We’ll just have to wait (how long, we don’t know) and see…
